THE FOURTH WORLD QUARTET released two collections on Cuneiform Records a couple years back, both recorded in 1975.
The 1st was released in 2021 and the second in 2022 meeting rave reviews. Laurence and twin brother Ben were so
inspired by this that they then practiced and recorded 30 other compositions of theirs from those daze,
along with a few other musicians contributing tracks as well. To everyone's joyful astonishment,
Cuneiform Records went ahead and released that mammoth batch in July 2023,
under the name MILLER TWINS Early Compositions (1973-76).
Laurence then formed TINN PARROW and his CLAPFOLD PLATUNE to push the vision further.
This seven-piece little 'big band' ensemble began rehearsing in March 2023, learning many of
those same compositions plus other reimagined pieces, as well as brand new material.
2024 marked the year The Platune began playing out into the world at large.

Winter 2023 thru Summer 2024 Recording Project
Laurence began a double CD production project in November 2023 involving his bandmates
and other local luminaries from the Detroit Metro area. Final mixes are now sliding into home base.
